How long will my listing be posted?
It will be automatically deleted in 30 days at which point you can repost if you wish. New items will be featured every week.
What should I price my items at?
I would suggest half of the retail rate if it is in excellent
condition and then reduce the price according to its condition. You
will see the number of times that your item has been viewed. If it has
been viewed a lot and your item has not sold, then you may be asking
for too much. If you want to wait it out, just repost when the 30 days
is up or send a message to the administrator for them to edit your
price.
How soon will my item be approved?
Email will be checked on a daily basis and depending on the amount
of items requiring approval, you should see yours posted in 48 hours.
What information do I HAVE to supply on the sell form?
Basically just your State/Province and email. You can supply a phone
number if you wish for a quicker contact with the buyer. The email will
NOT be visible to anyone other than the administrator and will not be
sold. This protects you from Spam. By providing a city, you may get
local buyers who would rather pick up the item than have it shipped.
What can I list?
Any media material that is appropriate for children ages 0-10 such as
books, CDs, DVDs, etc. Learning games such as Leap Frog or ones that
promote cooperation vs winning or losing are also acceptable. Please
don’t post clothes, household items or adult material.
What is good to include in the description?
A basic description of what you are selling and the shape that it is
in. A short narrative of what the book, DVD, CD, etc is about and the
Region code where the DVD can be played. The price is also important.
You may get some ideas from other auction or book websites.
What if I want to buy something and can’t find it?
We have a Wanted form where you are able to post the type of item that
you want and in what language. Sellers should check this page often and
can then contact you directly.
How much will this cost me?
NOTHING!! This site is paid for by advertisers and affiliate
programs at the moment. The intent is to provide multi-lingual families
an aid to develop children’s natural language and learning abilities
and put a bit of cash into their pockets and keep the costs to a
minimum.
What method of payment do you recommend?
Most people find it easiest to deal with PayPal® when buying and selling. An account can easily be created at PayPal's website (www.paypal.com) and it is free unless you're selling in large volumes. The buyer's payment is deposited
directly into your account and transactions are secure. Other payment options are available, but tend to be more expensive and difficult to manage.
Should I include the cost of the shipping in the price?
You might want to include your shipping costs in your item price and state this in your listing. We ask that you don't "pad" prices by adding a markup to shipping charges.
